Some Quick & Easy Holiday DIY Projects

Just popping in for a short share of some really nice DIY projects I've scouted out.  All of them are quick & easy and will make wonderful gifts for friends and family.  So let's get started!

Fort Worth Fabric Studio has directions for this Scrappy Christmas Pillow.  So colorful and full of Christmas cheer.  I can see how these will be useful for that after-christmas dinner nap.

I fell in love with this adorable Christmas Card Bowl that I found at My So Called Crafty Life .  It's made from ...Yes, that's right, Christmas cards.  Such a fun and easy project.  I'm definitely making one for myself and a couple more for friends.  Such a thoughtful gift filled with goodies to share as well.  The directions are here and also there is another set of directions here at About.com.

Amy Smart has a wonderful Patchwork Tree Quilt Block tutorial for you.  It makes into a mini quilt that can be put to so many good uses this time of year.  Here's the address to the tutorial.

I found the instructions for making these Christmas Reversible Patchwork Pocket Placemats at My Fabric Relish.  A bunch of these will dress up any holiday feast.

Jacquelynne Steves always has the best and most unique tutorials and this wool felt acorn pillow tutorial is no exception.  I love all the great wool felt projects that you see so often & this one is wonderful!

And finally here's a FREE pattern for this adorable Christmas Tree Mug Rug from Lindsey Weight at Fort Worth Studio.  A perfect stocking stuffer or secret pal gift.

I hope you are enjoying this wonderful holiday season and are making a little time each day to relax with a fun quilting project!
